Many of the Snow Creek Old Time Band followers had urged Jerry and his group to make their Old Time Music CD, and after many years, it's finally "Bout Time"! (The name of the CD)

Jerry George is responsible for this bunch of music main' hayseeds.  Jerry says, "We just enjoy making a racket." It all started with Jerry and Lawrence pickin' and singing a little on Jerry's porch around twenty years ago.  That porch is located in the Snow Creek Community of Stokes County NC.  Our style of music is called "Old Time" where the banjo is played clawhammer style (without picks).  We especially enjoy playing Flatfoot type music.  We play in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains at all kinds of outdoor events.  We play dances and parties of all sorts and we enjoy playing at several local rest homes.  We are pleased to see "Old Time" music coming back so strong because the one thing we have in common is we love to make a "racket"!
